Fishing The Offshore Mississippi Barrier Islands

Fishing the barrier islands off the coast of South Mississippi is truly a fisherman's paradise. Emerald green water surrounding our coastal barrier islands and many fish havens provide awesome fishing action. Sight fishing is one of the many awesome attractions of the coast barrier islands. There are many different species to catch King Mackerel, Black Tip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel Jack Crevalle, Florida Pompano, Gulf Whiting, Cobia and the list goes on.

If you choose the 6 hour or 8 hour trips weather permitting we will most likely fish either Horn Island or Ship Island. these islands are beautiful with their white sandy beaches and wildlife. Ship Island is rich in history with of course Fort Massachusetts. It doesn't matter which island you fish either way you're going to enjoy the view and the fishing.

The Mississippi Coast barrier islands are only 9 to 12 miles south of Biloxi, Mississippi travel time is at a minimum. These islands provide awesome deep sea fishing or light tackle bottom fishing year round.

Below are some of the pictures a fish that were actually caught that these islands.
